Asante's tackling

This post goes out to anyone who ever doubted asante samuel's tackling. Sure he had some bad attempts a couple weeks ago but he had a stinger in his shoulder, you try and tackle someone with a stinger in your shoulder. Asante made a couple of great hits and wrap-ups last week against the falcons. Plus they didn't bring in asante to make big hits they brought him in because he will intercept passes.

Sure thing, and we can call Reno Mahe a return specialist after he ran back that 15 second kick against the Giants.

I will agree that Samuel looked a helluva lot better this week tackling.

Im not saying asante is a great tackler sir, sorry if you interpreted my post wrong, however over the past few weeks people were calling out asante for his tackling and he proved to all those haters on sunday that he could make hits.

He's always been able to "make hits" (except after the stinger) - it was the TACKLING part he had problems with. Not sure that's been solved but he did look better against the Falcons.

My guess is that Tiger Wood's wife is a hater right now.

Asante's the second coming of Deion, sans the pomp and returning. He never will be a great tackler, but he can get guys down when he needs to. His reactions and ability to play off receivers in coverage makes him elite.

However, if he can't tackle, he doesn't belong on the field. Hell, Reid was tackling (a PCS) better than Asante was a few weeks ago.
