I dunno, this whole thing is silly anyway, you are talking about the difference between 6th and 11th on the list.
It's definitely silly. These lists are retarded. You're also right about the fact that we're talkign about minor differences in rankign here, but if e're talking about next season I wouldn't take Williams over Westbrook, Peterson, or a couple of the other guys ranked far below him.

Prisco's list is entering 2008. If Mario goes off for 20 sacks and leads the league I guess Prisco will be giving you a call.

I would. Rushing the passer is the name of the game. If you want to see how quickly a RBs fortunes can change when they don't have a dominant OL in front of them, see Mr. Larry Johnson not even making that list. In terms of pure player the DE is probably higher on the list of being able to single-handedly influence an outcome of a game than a RB is.

Oh yeah...if he builds on last year, I think he has the ability to be considered the best in the game at his position. I just think it;s more of a projection at this point.
And if Pete calls me, I'll just bring up the fact that he's an utter hack.
Just look at his list for last year. He had John Henderson ranked 13 and Albert Haynesworth off the list. This year he basically reversed their roles.
Last year, he had Jamal Brown as the 24th best player in all of football. He nearly got benched last year because he was so bad.
He just reactsa to the last thing he saw and that's why I think his list is a little dumb. it's the off-season, though...not much else to bitch about.

Give me a one man offense and a solid DE (like Trent Cole or Aaron Kampman for instance) over the Rudi Johnsons of the world and a guy with one season of ptoduction under his belt in Mario Williams.

Yeah, but Westbrook is up this year in his and McNabb's alternating "Get Broken" years.

Yeah, but I think most of that appears to be behind him. He's pretty much domianted the league for the last 2 seasons and he's touched the ball as much as anyone.
Anything could happen, though.
I'm just saying I feel the same way about Westbrook's health as I do Mario's production. I think both will continue to hold up, but I can't be sure. I do know what I'm getting out a healthy Westbrook, but I don't know what I get out of a healthy Williams next year.

I forgot who I was talking to for a minute...
Trade them all for wide receivers.

The top 4 next year will be Calvin Johnson, Ernie Sims, Jon Kitna and Gosder Cherilous.

My bad on Merriman's age, funny too, cause I was just out there at his Bday party on May 25th, we all took roids and had an open mic where we disrespected LT with freestyle raps.
