Our actual spot in line is trivial to this project.
jerobi
Agreed.
I'm thinking of the scene in Beetlejuice where
Michael Keaton switches his number with the voodoo guy and gets his head shrunk.
I figure my spot has to be in the millions.

Since you have no realistic shot this year, plug in fake contact info for your profile. Find out your ranking. If it's absurdly high, leave the fake info. If it's in the first few hundred, change the info back.
No need to get junk email and have your name/contact information sold to others.

Mine also turned up. Always puts a nice spin on the day. Even if I don't have particularly high hopes for the Birds this year, there's few things in life I like more than watching football.

Did you (or any of you) get a number back?
Curious if anyone on the site is even remotely close.

No email with my waiting list # yet.
I did hear two college age guys behind me at a Yankee game chatting about Eagles tickets. I talked to them for a bit. It seems that they were only on the waiting list for four years but got a call offering them three lower-tier seats with a ~$2800 SBL per seat. Not sure if they also do SBL's on the upper level seats. The guys declined the tickets.
This only makes me less confident that my name and list spot from 1991 is actually in their records.

may as well post this here, since many of you/us will be losing our season tickets as a result of Goodell's latest micro-managing effort...
NFL UNVEILS NEW FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
Posted by Michael David Smith on August 5, 2008, 4:02 p.m.
The NFL announced today that it will implement a new fan code of conduct, and that fans who break the rules can be ejected from stadiums and barred from returning.
Fortunately, there’s nothing in the new rules that bans standing.
The league says it is attempting to crack down on behavior that “detracts from the gameday experience,” including:
– Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal.
– Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in irresponsible behavior.
– Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
– Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects onto the field.
– Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.
– Verbal or physical harassment of fans from the opposing team

Does this include hitting on the ugly chick at the tailgate?

Wow. I know most of these rules are just on paper, but if the NFL is making them more official then they might as well put out a second press release:
---------------------------
Do you...love paying $30 for nachos and two beers?
Do you...prefer to pay $20 to park and still walk a half mile?
Do you...desire a solid 4-5 hours of captive advertising?
Do you...hate not having a meaningful way to drop $200 on a weekend on tickets, parking, gas, and food?
Do you...like to see something happen one time and one time only on a giant video board?
Do you...have an intensive collection of, and affinity for, binoculars?
Do you...like to wear the same outfit with others in public while still being civil and respectfully quiet?
THEN GET YE TO A NFL GAME! Excitement! Spending! Poor Views! No replays! Quiet!
It's like buying a twelve pack of beer and watching it on your HDTV...only more expensive and inconvenient!
FOOTBALL MADNESS...CATCH IT LIVE!

There was no waiting list in 1991. So, yeah, you're probably not in their records.

Fans are asked to treat Chiefs games like bowling matches
See all those fans in that picture? They are dirty, filthy people who are running afoul of Arrowhead Stadium law and should be ejected and beaten with a railroad spike.
The Kansas City Chiefs have a "Fan Code of Conduct," which is essentially a list of rules that fans have to follow when they're attending a game at Arrowhead. In theory, it's not a bad idea, as you'd like your stadium to provide a friendly atmosphere for families and people who aren't drunken hooligans.
In practice, though, it might not be such a great idea, especially if the person responsible for coming up with the rules is an 85-year-old woman who teaches the 2nd grade and regards standing up as one of the evil things that young whippersnappers often do. Seriously, standing erect is the No. 2 item on the list of things that are prohibited:
CHIEFS FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
The Kansas City Chiefs are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our fans. When attending a game, the stadium staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests and other fans can enjoy the event, free from the following behaviors:
• Foul, obscene, offensive or abusive language or actions
• Standing and/or obstructing the view of other fans
• Intoxication or other signs of impairment
• Smoking except in designated areas
• Fighting and unruly or inconsiderate behavior
• Obscene or indecent clothing or signs
• Conduct that endangers spectators or participants
• Harassment of visiting team fans
• Interfering with the progress of the game, going onto the field or
throwing any object onto the field
• Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
• Selling items or tickets in the stadium or on sports complex grounds
• Attempting to sit in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat
• Destroying property
Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Please respect the rights of others. Event patrons and guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund.
Pat-Down Policy
You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the Stadium. By tendering your ticket and entering the Stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs, its member clubs, their affiliates and stadium landlord, or their agents. If you elect not to consent to the searches, you will be denied entry into the Stadium.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
For the safety and security of our fans, the following items are prohibited in Arrowhead Stadium:
• Firearms, weapons of any type or fireworks
• Bags larger than 8½” x 11” x 6“
• Backpacks
• Sports balls
• Coolers – any size, any type
• Plastic, metal or glass cups, cans or containers
• Thermos bottles or flasks
• Food
• Beer or liquor
• Video cameras or professional cameras/lenses
• Boom boxes
• Portable heaters
• Flammable liquids
• Noisemakers – air horns, klaxon, bells, whistles, etc.
• Laser pointers of any type, poles or rods
• Large strollers
• Any other items deemed dangerous or unacceptable by security
ALLOWED ITEMS
The following items are permitted into the stadium:
• Fanny packs (unattached from your body)
• Purses no larger than 8½” x 11” x 6” (must fit in template at the
gate as you enter the stadium)
• Banners, signs and flags (no larger than 3’ x 5’) are permitted as
long as they do not interfere with other guests
• Small diaper bags (if infant is with guest)
• Plastic baby bottles
• One sealed, 20-oz. or smaller bottle of water per person – guest
may refill the bottle at any water fountain inside the stadium
• Binoculars and case
• Small still camera and case
• Hand-held radios and TV’s are permitted if they do not interfere
with other guests – an ear piece must be used to listen
• Small compact umbrella (rainy games only)
• Seat cushion – lightweight foam with sealed plastic cover
Now I know were the Chefs got their idea for their CODE OF CONDUCT FROM.... NFL Commish...
Hey Rog... Have a beer on me..

How can you really enforce these rules in Philly? I mean, under a really strict interpretation, you'd literally be throwing out thousands of people.
But I guess it's part of a trend. Things have certainly changed over the years. I remember in something like 1981, I was at an Eagles/Giants game, sitting so high up in the Vet I was on those metal bleachers. It was right after Thanksgiving, sleeting like a bitch, and with all the layers I had on I was still numb from the waist down. But that didn't stop this guy in front of me from passing out with his pants around his knees and no underwear. And this didn't stop anybody from enjoying the game. If they even noticed, they probably just figured, as I did, that it was part of the "atmosphere".
Like I say, things have changed...
But in all seriousness, I think this may be a sign that the NFL is getting so big it's losing touch with its core fan base. After all, for all the glamour now associated with it, football is still basically a game of controled violence played in the heat of high, high emotion. The fans have always been crucial to stoking that emotion. That's why we're "the 12th man". Muzzle the fans and the game is fundamentally changed.
Maybe I should just start watching tennis.
