Also " Eagles on Friday acquired fullback Luke Lawton from the Indianapolis Colts for a conditional draft pick in 2009."

F-dallas. I could have sworn we had this EXACT same argument before, with you arguing that McNabb had "good" accuracy, and me taking the EXACT position that you just stated in your last post. With T.O. being the reason McNabb's numbers in every category going up.
Do you remember this?
There was a lot of "stat Googling", I remember that.
I don't remember the conversation, but I don't know what you're point is. I thought McNabb had good accuracy and I still think that. I definitely wouldn't list it among his greatest strengths, but it's more of a chink in his armor as opposed to a full-fledged failure.
It seems like you're always trying to "catch" me in the bleeds on something. It's bizarre.
He's average with his accuracy and when he has a real WR, his accuracy numbers are suddenly on the elite side. Kinda who he is.

NTF.
No, I was checking out the old archives of the Level is all- and noticed how some of the arguments I made- and got ripped for- are now "gaining credibility" with some of these folks.
Now that's "bizarro".

Still working on finding the exact thread. But Found this subsequent one, where I referenced the argument between 736 and I- where 736 argued that "you don't need a #1 receiver- see the Patriots" and I made a joke of this after he changed his tune

The simple truth is McNabb is a diminished player and this offense needs a true #1 WR in order to operate at peak efficiency.
I won't believe that until 736 tells me it's so.
Smartening up I see.
It's so.

I cant read all that- but i'll say that you REALLY DO NOT NEED a
"NO.1 WR" if you have a GOOD GROUP of WRs".
The issue is that Philly's yet to find a true SOLID GROUP- 1 or 2 here or there scattered thru the Reid regime, but aside from the TO year, no such luck.

I understand your confusion- the "cut and paste" doesn't work.
But "the conversation"(and there was more than one in other threads) happened in that "All Things Javon" thread- only, I can only get the last page of it from the archives. But you can get the gist of it.
Misremembered nothing.
My memory is like a steel trap.

I come here to find any interesting news from knowledgeable eagles fans, and I get is F_B's demented bantering.
Dude, really, get a life already and STFU!
Those of us that live outside of PA rely on this site for good info, and having F_B around makes it harder and harder to come around. I'm sure I'm not alone.

EJ- stick around.
Just learn to either:
a) Laugh off FB
b) Sort thru his posts, take something from the good ones.
c) Leave like he said (don't select "C")
d) Arrange to have a cinderblock tossed thru his window.

I would heartily recommend against the last option, as my gut tells me that F_B is a bit like Stinkmeaner from 'The Boondocks.' After making the devil his bitch, he'd rise from the dead just to deliver an ass whoopin to whoever dropped that cinder block.
Cue response from F_B in 3, 2, 1 . . .

No way. Don't do this. We've found that this tactic leads to whiny "I troll the site because I'm addicted to weed" threads.
I hope that thread's still around somewhere.

I, for one, am sick of all the whiney bitches on here- claiming Philadelphia, yet sounding like they're from California.
Now who's whiny?
I'm going to be wrong about plenty of stuff over the course of 7 years, 8 years, or however long I've been here. Seth has been around longer and has been wrong a long, too. You're wrong quite a bit, too.
I'm not sure what you want here...a public admission of wrongness every time something we think wasn't right OR if our opinion changes over time?
I can tell you that I've NEVER thought McNabb's accuracy was a strength. I don't think it's as bad as some other people do, but I know he won't ever be called a "pinpoint passer" by anyone in his career, so I don't know why I would have ever told you that.

Gotta love it...
This is from Spuds on Saturday:
That the Eagles traded for Lawton isn't necessarily a reflection on Davis or Klecko. Both are, from what I understand, coming along very well.
Headline from Philadelphia Eagles dot come today:
Klecko Moved Back To Defensive Tackle
So, just so we're clear, things were going so well on Saturday that they asked Klecko to never attempt offense again and gave him a new jersey number on Monday.
Got it.
