Well, on the bright side, at least it'll give Seth something to hunt...

Well I'm not sure how Swed or Duecet make it to the 2nd round I like the idea of the Eagles taking Ali Highsmith (LB USC) in the 2nd IF he's still around which I'd doubt, I really like that kid, IMO I think he could end up being the best LB in the draft... granted I'm not a real expert on the position, but I actually spent a lot of time this year trying to watch the LB's from college this year. I don't know why people think Conner is going to be so great, I actually think he's not even in the top 5 at LB in the draft this year... the way I rank this is as follows

#2 Geno Hayes (LB, Florida State)
#3 Ali Highsmith (LB, LSU)
#4 Xavier Adibi (LB, Virginia Tech)
#5 Jerod Mayo (LB, Tennessee)
#6 Erin Henderson (LB, Maryland)
#7 Dan Conner (PSU)
#8 Curtis Lofton (LB, Oklahoma)

AND of course the best LB that decided to remain for his Senior year James Laurinaitis (OSU) I'm really surprised he stayed at Ohio St, he was projected as a 1st rounder this year but stayed... not sure if that was the smart move but it's nice to see a guy actually not just playing for the money, although I'm sure once he gets to the NFL that will play a HUGE factor.

Tat, I think Sweed sucks. Someone may take him late in the first round, but he reminds me of a low budget Dewayne Jarrett. He might run a tiny bit faster, but I don't like his game.

I'm not a fan of this kid. I saw him get trucked too many times going one on one with a RB. He's can cover and blitz, but he's weak.

IMS OK I only saw him a few times this year but he struck me like a really good LB I could easily be wrong... For that matter I could be dead wrong on Connor as well, like I said I've only the last year or two been making an effort to watch LB play throughout the college games I watch. I'm still learning, not quite up to the level of the Eagles LB coach OBVIOUSLY..

I'm not quite sold on DeSean Jackson.

Something about the fact that every offensive player to come out of Cal over the last decade (Save Tony Gonzalez) hasn't done a thing in the NFL.

I think Marshan Lynch was a Cal guy, but your point remains.

I have plenty of questions about Desean Jackson...I think everyone does.

I think he'll be gone by the time the Eagles pick if he runs below 4.4, too (despite those questions).
