The Skins based hired a slew of assistants before choosing a head coach. That's a slap in the face to most veteran coach candidates. Although I'm sure we'd all accept a giant satchel of Redskin Money.

It's weird how snyder does business...he interviews multiple candidates multiple times, even interviewing greg williams 4 times and supposedly one of the interviews lasted an entire day, and then he basically bumps into Zorn in the hall and asks him if he's interested in being the head coach.

zorn said he was so shocked by the offer that he didn't even know how to reply. He said he was in the middle of putting together the playbook and then the HC job was just handed to him.

Nice touch when Zorn said he was excited to be a part of the "maroon and black".

Stop, he said he was happy to be part of the "Maroon and black" ???

Maybe they are worse than the Skins for the #2 spot, but I'd go with Al Davis right now as the worst in the biz.

To coach an NFL team is a lot of people's dreams. You know it's bad when you interview people and no one wants the job.

Huh. Some problem. Guy's a perfect teammate, works hard, plays harder. If you can get past the TD celebrations- meaning he's scoring TD's helping your team win- what's not to like? I think he's gotten a bad rap.

P.S. Having said that- the predictions and all that- overblown. He's well liked by the opposing players because they don't take him seriously, so all he's really doing is taking the attention and some of the pressure off his teammates and putting it squarely in his corner.

P.P.S.- Having said the "having said", my assessment of "Pepto-Bismol Man" is that he is a supreme overacheiver, not the most talented of the "elite" WRs- he just works harder than everybody else. Worth top dollar? Depends on who's throwing to him as well as who's paying.

Therefore, it did not shock me to see you a) call Ocho Stinko "The perfect teammate" and b) then attribute a quick battery of facts as mere "media hype".
