Can't find a good link, but heard on JM the other day that the Birds are 45-1 odds of winning the SB next year.
Obviously this changes as the season goes on, but that should instill you with confidence.

yeah, but those odds were probably made before they found out about the new linebackers coach.

When I saw the title of this thread, I figured they would be about 50-1. I take no comfort in the fact that Vegas thinks the Birds are as bad off as I do.
As a reference point, after the Phils 1992 season when they finished dead last in the division, they were 35-1 odds to win the world series.
Scary that the 1993 Phils at the beginning of the season were deemed to have a better chance of winning it all than these Eagles.
Gold standard my ass.

What are the odds of the Eagles winning a Super Bowl in the next 25 years?
The polar ice caps will melt before the Eagles ever win a fkn Super Bowl.
They can float the parade down the Delaware.

I don't get it. The Delaware is a river now. WTF does the ice caps melting have to do with floating a parade down an already-existing river?

It wasn't meant to be literal, bugbrain
Are we gonna have to start posting in blue all over again or do you think you can keep up from now on?

"Bugbrain", nice one there poopyface.
Posting in blue means sarcasm. I didn't think he meant that the parade would literally be down the Delaware, so blue wouldn't have helped. I was just wondering what the joke was with the polar ice caps.
And what business is it of yours, anyway? I was asking section not you. Piss off clown.

Sadly, the answer is yes. You CAN be this dumb.

Roach, I believe the implications would be the rise of sea levels and the remapping of coastlines as a consequence of melting polar ice caps. This in turn is being spoofed on such that the Delaware is now risen and basically extends all over the city and by extension Broadstreet. The site of the imaginary parade. THAT is what the "joke"/sarcasm was meant to say.

What has this site come to?
Dumbing down the humor/explaining the jokes for the few select potheads and Cowgirls fans who lack the synapses to pick it up?
'08 is already starting to suck.

Oh, I don't know that '08 is looking so bad based on this thread. In retrospect, what we have here is a biiig stretch of a lame joke, a question, ************, a reluctant explanation, an attempt at a gracious acceptance of the explanation and the joke, and finally your enitrely justified ridicule of the entire thing. Seems pretty par for the course to me...

30-1 Eagles to win SB
I didn't check the board myself, was playing poker. Had my friend go and he came back with the Eagles, Vikes (his squad, also 30-1) and the favorite: Pats at 7-2
