I think several 'regulars' have undergone a sorta evolution as far as bucking personality trends goes, and its likely just the offseason of relative silence and havin 7 yrs under the belt.

I'm always miserable when it comes to the Eagles this time of year. I don't mope around in my life, but it's pretty tough to be excited about a team that thinks $4 million in 2007 is better spent on a guy name Ryan Fowler than Donte Stallworth.

Then, they don't even get Fowler.

The Eagles front office rarely participates in the off season, but this year they are ALSO getting beaten to the punch by other organizations, which is unusual. That's what makes this year worse, IMO.

BTW when's Reid supposed to be "officially" back on the job?

To be honest, this is a good addition, but I don't think Curtis is special. I've never seen him play a lot as a starter, so I'm not an expert on him, but he CLEARLY upgrades the WRs to a respectable level.

I want to see the money, though. I think Stallworth is a better and younger player. if they signed him to "big" money, this would feel like a desperation move after losing Stallworth.

I know some people are going to like signing Curtis (and I'm indifferent, because how many fast white guys can you count in the NFL?), but why couldn't they have done the same for Stallworth? They didn't even want to give him a chance.

Mixed feelings, really, but I'm annoyed they couldn't do the same for Stallworth.

Yeah, I don't care much about it, but at the very least it's depth to an untested WR corps.

like f-d, i'm pissed this money wasn't given to stallworth instead.
