I have no idea, but I'm guessing fairly low.
Put it this way...Derrick Mason has 6.

I'm sorry...
There are 13 tight ends with the same or more big plays as Reggie Brown.

I thought you were referring to this year (they normally "big plays" anything over 20).
Last year he was tied for 2nd most in the NFL for plays over 40 yards.

FD,
I am also conserned with reggie's production. But when you talk about the reduction in big plays, you have to take into account the fact that #5 has thworn deep less this year than any year I can remember. The old birds would throw down the field 5 times a game.

I get that, but the questions remain.
Why is he throwing it down field less?

Combination?
- Defenses playing 2 safeties back
- Not many deep plays being called (somehow, I actually don't believe this)
- McNabb being more reluctant to throw it deep because of pressure, lack of faith in the WRs, or both
- No LJ in the mix, who McNabb has known to throw to deep

Most of LJ's deep balls were really run after the catch. He was good at reading hot routes on blitzes (dallas xmas game). For all of his flaws, he was way more athletic than Celek and has clearly been missed this year. If 5 is coming back, they better get a solid TE who can make big plays. In today's NFL, teams need more athletic TE's, the Chad Lewis type TE's (Celek) are still used, but more as a blocking and backup capacity.

I caught the end of something about the Bengels just looking to see if anyone else has heard the whole story???
It seems Palmer stated something along the lines of there needs to be a coaching change here, during his exit interview... anyone hear exactly what was said or in what context???

And yet Matt Millen still has a job.
There's rumors that Martz might be considered for San Fran.

Tat-
Palmer stated they needed coaching staff changes NOT including Marvin Lewis.
Lewis acknowledged Palmers remarks but little else. Doesnt seem willing to cater to the QB.

Not that I follow Detroit all that closely, but wasn't their main problem their swiss cheese defense? And isn't the head coach a defensive guy?
Looks kinda like another Brian Billick/Marvin Lewis situation where the head coach's supposed expertise is failing miserably.

Well my guess is that Palmer knew it was coming... The Bengels fired the Defensive Coordinator...
Palmer was on Mike and Mike this morning and he said he hoped that Chad would be back next year... but hearing the way he said "hoped" it kind of sounded like he would be traded mainly because he is looking for a new contract and Palmer, TJ, and Chad take up a LARGE part of the cap already it seems the Bengels may be willing to part with Chad to free up space to bring in help on the Defense... granted this is mostly my thoughts but IF Chad is looking for a new contract it certainly would make parting ways in Cincy a lot easier for the FO out there...

Cam Cameron is out of a job. And to think there was the possibility that if Parcells wasn't hired, he'd still be getting ready to coach next year. I don't get it - sure, they had issues enough to bring Williams back, but talent by itself doesn't get you one scared call away from being the anti-Patriots.
And Heckert is under consideration for the GM job in Atlanta. *shakes head*

OK for the record this is a rumor, and I'm starting it... John "chucky" Gruden gets the AXE in Tampa... hasn't won a playoff game since taking Dungy;s team to the SB, hasn't been able to find a QB or build a solid team... He gets fired within a week...

This from the 4th:
Bears general manager Jerry Angelos didn't rule out exploring the trade market for a veteran such as Cleveland quarterback Derek Anderson or -- dare to dream -- Donovan McNabb. But given the late-season progress of Kyle Orton and Angelo's stated interest in Grossman returning, those inquiries might fall under the category of Angelo doing his "due diligence."
http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/nfl?page=5
Which they got from this article:
http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/cs-080103davidhaughchicagobears,1,4271639.column?coll=cs-bears-headlines
and this is from today:
If the Bears want to pursue Donovan McNabb in an off-season trade, here are two things they should know: 1. The Eagles are not trying to dump McNabb, so he won't come cheaply. 2. The Vikings will not be trying to trade for him and driving up the price.

I know I still don't link, these are mainly from SI's FanNation....

The Dolphins might not have hired a head coach yet, but they're filling out his staff after hiring former Arkansas offensive coordinator David Lee, according to a source. Once the Cowboys season is over, Dallas secondary coach Todd Bowles is believed to be the front-runner for the defensive coordinator job, left open after Dom Capers was fired.
OK so Parcells is running the Dolphins, and whoever gets the HC job is gong to be his puppet, which I think we all knew, but whoever gets the job is only going to coach the team...
My question is, is it normal for the GM/FO to do the hiring of the coordinators, not letting the HC have a say or choice in the matter???

Lose to SD sans LaDay? Check.
Lose to SD on the final drive without Philip Rivers? Check.
Lose to Billy Volek? Check.
Lose despite giving Peyton Manning two opportunities late in the game to take the lead? Check.
Lose yet another playoff game after having one week to prepare? Check.
Lose to Norv Turner at home? Check.
Yep, time to retire.

Garrett's plan
1:08 PM Tue, Jan 15, 2008 | Permalink
Albert Breer E-mail News tips
According to ESPN's John Clayton, the plan Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has presented the Ravens has former Dolphins assistants Cam Cameron and Dom Capers going with him to Baltimore as offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively.
This is a mixed bag for Dallas. On one end, it means that a staff that figures to be tattered when the smoke clears will not be raided too extensively by the new Baltimore regime. But another side to it is that if Garrett does go to Baltimore, and Tony Sparano to Miami, Cameron likely would've been a prime candidate to become OC in Dallas.
Cameron was the Chargers offensive coordinator, while Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips served as DC in San Diego from 2004-06. Cameron's connection to Garrett is through Norv Turner. Cameron was the Redskins quarterbacks coach from 1994-96 under Turner and, as such, runs a similar offensive system to Garrett.
That would probably leave receivers coach Ray Sherman as the top candidate for the offensive coordinator position. Sherman was the Steelers offensive coordinator in 1998, taking over for Chan Gailey there, and the Vikings OC in 1999, where he took the reins from Brian Billick. Sherman resigned after being replaced by Sherman Lewis in Minnesota, and offered a position as receivers coach, after the '99 season.
Quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson could be another candidate. He brings eight years of experience as a position coach, four in Dallas (2000-02, 2007) and three in Chicago (2004-06.)
