Oh, and dont think for ONE MINUTE if I felt he matured and underwent a "Mosslike" change in tude- that I wouldnt want him here.

But I think he's Jackass A #1 in the entire League- mentally. This is to say- in the non-criminal subset.

I love how he was politicking on tv all day during the draft that they (Carolina) need to get Jarrett so that he could mentor him, saying how he is an exact replica of himself.. blah, blah, blah.....the irony of him being cut because of that exact pick is priceless.

wow, are you serious?!? that's a bit surprising, I figured they'd have kept him around to help the new guys they drafted... but I guess when you have Steve Smith there isn't anyone better to tutor the young guys.

Seth, I for one would like to see him in Philly, give him a Vet min contract with a lot of incentives, I bet he'd like to have one last shot at a ring... besides McNabb could then have a whinning buddy...

I mean he is still productive:
2006 Carolina 16/16 70 815 11.6 40 4

70 catches for 815 yds is better then a lot of WR's in the league

Keyshawn owns in Philly.

That means at least 8 games of good play.

If they can get him for 1 year at vet min you gotta like it. He's a great slot receiver, self-indulgent personality traits aside.

The four teams that want Keyshawn

Posted: Wednesday May 02, 2007 05:52AM ET

Keyshawn Johnson might have to put his television career on hold. Word is there might be a pretty good market for him. The Eagles, Chargers, Giants and Titans are rumored to be among the teams that are at least thinking about pursuing Johnson.

Eagles defenders facing demotions?

Posted: Wednesday May 02, 2007 08:22AM ET

While Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson said the other day that Jeremiah Trotter still is the team's starting middle linebacker, his inclusion of the words "right now" made it clear the four-time Pro Bowler is going to have to prove this summer that he still deserves the job. Right now, the right cornerback job belongs to Sheldon Brown. But keep your eye on William James, who is gaining ground on the outside.

Funny- two things.

1) In an email to both MIG and BD today- I asked who their starters would be on D when the year opens in Cheeseville.

I said Gaither would start in the middle. BD vehemently disagreed.

I hedged and later backed off a James starting at Corner, Brown to Safety move but at least thought it a possibility.

Dont know like some on this site seem positive of, that Brown can play Safety. He hits like 1, but....

and 2)- has PFT.COM been replaced here on the level by a new rumor site, brought to us by Tat?

EEB - Skillwise, if he's added to this roster he absolutely helps this offense.

Cmon.

It's the attitude that bears inspection.

DT Ian Scott, visiting w/ coaches at Novacare today.

Last played in the SB with Chicago.

Guy's been in the league 5 yrs, stands 6'3 and weighs 305.

Chicago supposedly wants to keep him but only at thier price- and ensured that they don't need Scott back by selectin a DT in the 3rd last Sat.

Looks like the Pats are eyeing him as well.

As far as Brown goes, I guess he'd be the most logical choice to supplant Dawk, since they really don't have a capable safety in mind or on the roster. He hits and he can cover, but will his height be an issue against TEs? Can his body stand being constantly involved against the run?

Couple of questions, but I'm receptive to the idea.
