I thought it was the Batman symbol to go with his cargo shorts?

Oh well, maybe that was someone else.

Kris Jenkins is apparently available for the right price. ANY INTEREST?

Depends what the right price is, but he's the best DT in football when healthy.

3rd round pick? If that would do it, I'd be all over it but I don't know if he's worth any more than that given the injury issues and contract.

I would definitely trade the comp pick they'll get for Stallworth on him. That should be a 3 or 4 'cause he signed that big money deal, right?

Right?

A third would do it for me or Jones/McCoy and a conditional pick. Other than Diggs and Draft, they're LBs seem to be rather youngish.

I think Carolina's GM would jam a football up Banner's ass if he had the nerve to offer Jones and a late pick for KJ.

According to reports he's available for a "mid-round pick", which means a 3, 4, or 5.

I find it hard to believe they'd trade him to Philly, though (or even in the conference). I LOVE Jenkins, though.

Carolina need a sturdy LT and a pick, maybe?

Tre, I mean William Thomas and next year's 4th (since they're due compensation picks next year, probably)?

Oh, and the beast that is Joey Harrington is backing up Real Admiral Valtrex.

At what point does Harrington start? I say Week 11.

FB, I think the birds may take a flier at him, simply because they showed some interest earlier but that may have been solely becaus ethe NYG were interested and they wanted to drive the price up, but then he failed the physical so I think there may be some health issues which is why the birds may take a shot the same way they did with Barber a few years back, he's hurt and be willing to sign a one year low money deal... it's the win win the birds seem to look for, get a guy cheap that might be able to help and if not they can say we tried we brought in this guy and that guy... you know the same old same old...

Isnt he a tad beat up after 8 tough seasons?

He couldnt pass the Giants Physical, who need players like oxygen at this pt.

Al Wilson was just released by the Broncos.

I'd be all over this, but I don't get it. He failed a physical with the Giants, but what is wrong with him? He was a Pro Bowler 12 months ago...

There must be more than meets the eye with that neck injury he suffered toward the end of the season.

From his perspective, I don't know why he'd want to come here for one year unless he was guaranteed a starting spot. A year on the bench watching Cocong miss tackles and Jones playing the banjo isn't going to help him secure a Shawn Barber-to-KC type deal. (Speaking of, does it make a difference when Dhani Jones gets cut? I'm surprised he's still on the team, and I'm worried they intend to keep him.)

Wilson should look a little further south. I'm sure Snyder has about $17 million that he's dying to spend.

He apparently really fucked up his neck Dec. 3rd against Seattle. He managed to play the season out, but has acknowledged that he cant play with his neck in its current condition

I wouldnt mind keeping Banjo as a backup role. In case of injury he can play both oLB's. His cap hit isnt that much either.

while i like the idea in theory, the birds also have 2 young LB's that wont be playing as much, who they really like in daniels and mccoy. and they usually only dress 6. if gocong is listed at LB, there's the 6.

Neck injury on a linebacker? Pass.

I agree 90% on that, only reason I'm leaving a 10% chance is because he played out the season... He is still looking to play but can't play the way his neck is right now?!? If Dr's clear him to play down the line and his neck is healed there is still a slim chance he could be worth something down the line, it's not like anyone(even Snyder) would just give the guy a contract.

Just to clarify what I'm saying it's 90-10 that he won't play again in the NFL, I don't think there is a .00001% shot the birds sign him.

Al Wilson=Duce Staley....teams just don't release pro-bowl players for nothing. If the Giants or Chiefs pass(a division rival who is as desperate as the Gmen are) says a lot.
