I've maintained that the NHL mistakenly marketed itself like McDonald's when it should have marketed itself like Arby's. Does the guy who owns Arby's make as much as McDonald's? No. Does he make good money and have a good business? Yes.

The Olympics are just proof that the NHL tells their refs to call games certain ways. You had several NHL refs working the games and a majority of their BS calls disappeared during this tournament. This game and tournament were wonderfully officiated.

Expect terrible calls back in full force starting Tuesday night.

Disappointing game today - and not just because Canada won. Checking was ultra-tight and it wasn't the most fun to watch. Funny how Crosby will grab all the headlines even though he was invisible today until the OT goal and had a so-so tourney overall.

I did as well, the times that I could watch it. The most impressive athlete from the games has gotta be Shaun White. He's on a completely different level, and I know that gets tossed around a lot with athletes, but there is no more accurate example than Shaun White.
