A better one off that "Best Of" CD would be All Day Music, or Spill The Wine

I will have to check out some of those songs I am not familiar with that you guys put out there- but I have to admit, Summer Wind is a Sinatra song I know by heart and sing often while drunk
Ditto with Under The Boardwalk

Seth, Andy Williams sung, "Moon River" the original anyway.
I guess I'm the only one that will actually lay claim to liking the Will Smith tune and further the ignominy by adding "Into the Groove" by Madonna.

My point was that I believe he did the original version of that song. Or at least the first to gain great notoriety.
Very original, F_B.

For whatever reason I always think of summer down the shore whenever I hear Marvin Gaye's 'I heard it through the Grapevine'
Will Smith's Summertime is always funny to watch for nostalgic purposes. That Flyers baseball jersey always cracks me up.
Summer time by Sublime is also a good tune.

"A better one off that "Best Of" CD would be All Day Music, or Spill The Wine"..So..
Spill the Wine is one of the most underrated great songs ever....Eric Burdon and War is one of those albums I always intended on picking up but never did.
A ton of songs/albums remind me of summer but aren't necessarily summer tunes:
Bob Marley
Luscious Jackson "Natural Ingredients"
G Love & Special Sauce's first record
Mali Music
Porno for Pyros "Good God's Urge" especially the track "Porpoise Head"
REM's "Reveal"
The Beach Boys 60's catalog
U2's "Zooropa"

See the curtains hangin' in the window, in the evenin' on a Friday night.
A little light a-shinin' through the window, lets me know everything is alright.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
See the paper layin' in the sidewalk, a little music from the house next door.
So I walked on up to the doorstep, through the screen and across the floor.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom. July is dressed up and playing her tune.
And I come home from a hard day's work, and you're waiting there, not a care in the world.
See the smile a-waitin' in the kitchen, food cookin' and the plates for two.
See the arms that reach out to hold me, in the evening when the day is through.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

that song gets me angry
Summer Clothes by Animal Collective is a good un.
Shut Em Down reminds me of summer b/c my friends and I would blast it in the backyard when we were playing basketball.
I was telling olv this I think, how a lot of things reminds me of Sea and Cake, b/c they're the kind of band you listen to when driving. They're first album is good "driving downashore" music.
I used to listen to The Chronic a lot, too, on the way to Alvethorpe to school punks on the court. Alvethorpe park in the summer got girls there
