Try going to ten years ago, when Hold Em was still enjoyable. Now everyone thinks they're an expert, even at the 3/6 and 4/8 games.

In any case the answer to your question is: the Taj is the best-known and probably where you get the best games (particularly middle- to high-limit), and the Trop is where you'll get the best drink service if you don't mind the ugliness of the waitresses. Borgata is ok but too f'n crowded, and god forbid the waitress hits your table more than once an hour.

Or if you'd prefer I've always heard about some great card rooms in NJ and especially NYC, but can't vouch for them firsthand.

Foxwoods, by the way, remains my favorite cardroom (and overall Casino) in the US.

AC is like I died and went to hell. Surrounded by Guido's, and there are so many Vietnamese immigrants I half expect to see a group of them betting on a Russian Roulette game between Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken.

Go to Vegas, have fun. Headed there in two weeks

Talking tournies KB- cash games with a bunch of strangers are a total roll of the dice IMO. Would much prefer to play a tourny.

Anyways, agreed with "everyone thinking their an expert"- while I harbor no such delusions of grandeur, I was playing in a rounders circuit for about 4 years against some pretty good players. I'd like to think I could hold my own against the average weekend warriors down the shore. I guess we'll find out- thanks for the heads up

Taj is a decent poker room and they give away the rooms, literally. You should be able to get a comp room with little to no effort.

Pot Limit Omaha is a significantly better game, but for some reason, it still ranks far behind Texas in popularity. Almost all of the guys in my weekly game cringe when the cash game switches to PLO.
