Loved the comments about the 'ethnic' Mets fans earlier in the thread. I've noticed that too and always wondered why that was the case. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Why are so many Mets fans ethnic?

It's partly because of the acquisition of Latino players over the last 6 or 7 years.

It's also partly due to the fact that Queens is the most ethnically-diverse county in the world.
