guy the cubs had in for the bottom of 9th couldn't have gotten a college hitter out.
well, one game lead, mets have a tougher matchup than the phillies this weekend. all in their hands.

Magic Number down to one.
Amazins are gonna send out Santana on short rest, as a win is almost imperative tomorrow with the Brewers winning tonight.
Moyer goes for the Phils tomorrow.
Weather permitting of course.
Zak and I are going to attempt to watch the game together tomorrow somewhere if anyone is interested.

10-4...... I like the Phils... Have since I was a kid.... I need to get off my lazy ass and come up there and catch a game in the new ball park.. I have not been since the Vet went...........
And I can fly for effin free........ Seen em play in ATL... Just not in Philly...

The Cubs obviously the worst case scenario not only b/c they are the best team but the Phils will be reeling going into the playoffs, what with the tiebreaker loss and all

Agreed.
Ideally, Phils win today and clinch.
Mets win and Brewers lose today.
CC pitches tomorrow. Brewers win and Mets lose.
Phils face Brewers with Hamels starting game 1. CC doesn't make an appearance until game 3.

gotta clinch today to give hamels tomorrow off.
i guess i want the dodgers (just pitch around manny), but i don't really mind the brewers matchup, especially with the jury still out on sheets' effectiveness. brewers are some free swingers and i think the phils staff has proven good at neutralizing that.
