Who pitches Wednesday? We all know Hamels won't go on three days rest.
Jurrjens goes for the Braves.

Wouldn't it have made more sense for the Astros to play in, I don't know, Arlington?
The Rangers were away.

flesh - you think the Phils will get in the playoffs? Last week I wasn't so sure but it's division games from here on out.

yes, i think they take the WC.
i think the mets are a slightly better team than the phils right now, but they are asking a lot of ayala for the next two weeks without an off-day.

This is why Mets-Phillies can never be a true rivalry. Both teams' fans seem to believe the other guys are going to win...

Lilly had a no hitter through 6, Ike really cooled off the AStros

With the Brewers firing Yost doesn't that concede the season for them? At least wait until the last game is played to fire the guy. I'd like to see the Phils take the division but I think the WC is the best way to go right now. Hopefully the Cubs continue their hot streak and sweep the Mets.

Yost should have been fired for the 8th inning of game 1 yesterday. Uses a lefty to walk Howard and then uses the same lefty to pitch to Burrell? He made a .180 hitter into a .280 hitter. Even George Bush fires people for that type of incompetance

I think the schedule favors the Phillies both in the wild card and the division race. Both the Mets and Brewers have to play the Cubs while the Phils only play the same spoilers the Mets play.
Phillies 83 - 67
3 @ Braves
3 @ Marlins
3 home Braves
3 home Nationals
Mets 83 - 65
4 @ Nationals
3 @ Braves
4 home Cubs
4 home Marlins
Brewers 83 - 67
3 @ Cubs
3 @ Reds
3 home Pirates
3 home Cubs
Cubs 89 – 58
1 makeup with Astros in Milwaukee
3 home Brewers
3 home Cardinals
4 @ Mets
3 @ Brewers
1 @ Astros

Looks like after today like there is two spots for the Mets, Phils, and Brewers.

If the Phils pull out the division, they will face the NL West winner which will probably be the Dodgers. Maybe getting a little ahead of myself but that is most definitely a winnable series.
Then again they do have to win I'd say 7-8 of the next 12 games to lock up the division.

Ah no.
Depends on who wins the wildcard. If the Brewers win it, Cubs play the Dodgers.
If the Mets win it, Phils play the Dodgers.
