I don't disagree with that F_B. Probably the most convincing argument is "it can't hurt".

that's pretty much all i'm saying.

how long till that clunkhead of a manager moves rollins out of the leadoff spot? it only took him 3/4 of the season to figure out he needed break up utley and burrell.

and yet another simply awful at bat by ryno.

and fred, it certainly makes sense to at least consider trading ryan for a really good package.

you probably aren't going to resign him when he hits FA, and his value, which is still very high, will only continue to drop as he absolutely can't hit LHP, can't field a lick (this game notwithstanding) and apparently doesn't take BBs anymore. he is approaching 30 and doesn't appear to be the kind of player who is going to age well based on his approach at the plate and his body type.

so the question of whether to trade him is totally objective and isn't indicative of a conspiracy against him.

Fair enough flesh, I'm sure his first three years were a flash in the pan

I would have traded Babe Ruth too

Flesh, take it easy babe.

In all seriousness, I'm not a big fan of him striking out so much and his defense, but you don't just pluck 140+ RBI guys off of trees, k?

Don't get all worked up.

god, rollins is about as bad as you can be right now at the plate (still awesome in the field).

still blame that dumb fuck manager more for writing his name in the leadoff spot no matter how ineffective he is.

k. but he has a lot of serious weakness in his game and has been getting dramatically worse for the last three years so maybe you explore what you could get for him.

K?

Rollins has to sit out a game. He's been especially brutal lately.

And has any reigning MVP had a season as bad as he? His numbers are career lows.

Do you guys have any fun watching sports at all? Not even a mention of Feliz's hit there??

I like Miller's call just then... "Manny... running hard to second on that hit!" It's amazing how easily these announcers buy into that stuff.

Durbin has hit a wall. Been used way too much this year

just like the Babe ate too many hot dogs-

The Phils wouldn't be in the race without Howard's production- and we are talking celestial production here.

Why so quick to give up on him, flesh?
