Aw shit...Glenn....deal or no deal. I gotta double check, but I thought I dug one of the 20's.

There's a few standouts in there, #13 is the one that looks like a Jersey girl with Big hair and plays "Wednesday" in that bud light ad that mimics "Cribs". But I dig her for some reason, large mammories have not been ruled out.

The Flyers have grown through this series, with more players taking more of the responsibility against Ovechkin. It hasn't been dirty, or antagonistic, or against the rules, or anything like that. It has just been hockey, solid, defensive hockey.

Ovechkin acknowledged as much yesterday after practice when he said, "[They] play well on D. [Flyers goaltender Martin] Biron has played well and they don't give me space to shoot the puck."

Have the Flyers been physical?

"No, not physical," Ovechkin said. "They just skate with me."

The next obvious question was if Ovechkin is frustrated. He answered quickly.

"Me? No," he said. "I'm frustrated we are losing. It's playoffs. It's not about scoring, it's about winning."

Game 3 was the first Flyguy game I watched all year.

I'm only passionate and loyal if they make the playoffs. If they don't, to hell with em.

Same can be said of the 76ers. I watched two 76ers games this year.

If the Habs were to choke these next three games (won't happen) the Bruins, as the #8 seed would play #2 Pittsburgh... leaving PHI/WAS winner vs. NJ/NY winner.

Let's be honest, the first half of hockey season is really for entertainment purposes only. January and February are for getting to know the number each guy on the team wears. March and April is when it actually starts to matter.

Add in "fantasy league purposes" and I feel this way about all professional sports these days. Except for maybe the NFL, and the Giants' Super Bowl run is testing even that theory.

The NFL is the only sport that I can watch religiously. Having only 16 games makes a huge difference, and while someone like the Giants can make a great late-season run, they had several close victories (not to mention the key season finale loss to NE) that played a vital role in their late season run. For this reason, the NFL is the only league I can watch with interest when my team is not playing. Fantasy Football helps, too.

If I'm back in PA, I might watch the late innings of a Phillies game. Otherwise, I can't suffer through an entire baseball game until the playoffs.

At least hockey has hitting and the prospect of fights. Pre-playoff basketball is only worth it for the last few minutes.

could watch the phillies 365 days a year if possible. sad, i know.

I try and watch every Phils game. Even all the years they sucked. Which has been many. The only games I miss now are the west coast late games.

Watch every Eagles game every year even when they stunk. And there were a lot of those years too.

The Masters (Sunday only)
Indy 500
Wimbeldon finals
All Triple Crown races / Breeders Cup
Summer Olympics

Flyers got away with one there on the no-call on the high stick--- and now are fortunate to have a PP with 3:16 left...better make somethin of it, considerin the rough stuff early cost em a goal....
