A team from Canada hasn't won the Cup since 1993 so I don't see were the conspiracy theory comes from. If there was some kind of plot to get the Cup in Canada it isn’t working very well.

I guess it would be nice to believe that hack writers come here from time to time to get their ideas for a story. And I’m not saying it hasn’t happened. I just don’t believe it does.

How many games can/will Philly win in this series?

I can't get a feel for the Flyers and I've seen zero of the Pens in the playoffs. Just much more focused on baseball right now, pretty much only watch the Wings and any game that goes to OT. So I have no idea what will happen in this series, if the Flyers have gotten this far they can probably go further if the refs swallow their whistles often enough. But as it stands, we are only one series for each away from That Which Cannot Be Mentioned By Name.

I think at this point the ceiling has disappeared for the Flyers. There is no reason this team cannot win the Stanley Cup. They're getting balanced, timely scoring and solid to great goaltending every time out. That's the key.

Don't take that as a prediction, or anything, just saying there's no reason for the "everything else is gravy" mindset. This team has the ability to win it all, and you never know if they'll be back in this position again. Should be a hell of a series.
