Nice Az.
Quick- GGB- Im retracting nuttin- just sayin you a) never touched on the point i made that YOU COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTOOD what i was sayin bout Eaton and V- you thought id prefer Eaton to presumeably Verlander and CC Sabithia per your post.
NTF.
B) As for the Tigers stuff- you absolutely piped in on teh Phils talk when they made the playoffs, nuttin wrong with it- but dont act like you didnt.
C) What of you not touching on another point of mine- where i absolutely cited you talkin your Detroit stuff late nite in the Sixers thread yrs ago, when you and I wanna say Hulk and Skillz were goin at it (yrs ago I realize)...?
Bottom line? You absolutely get cocky/happy out here when it appears your Detroit teams are faring well. To act diferently is disengenious.

I honestly have no idea what all that means. If we can add any clarity to this discussion, I think the Sixers have an outside, outside shot to uppend the Pistons, but I would not bet it. I don't think the Pistons are going anywhere, nor the Sixers.
I don't understand your point about me chiming in on any Phils Postseason threads, nor about whatever I said about the Sixers years ago. As per usual, you seem to be clouding and retreating from your initial assertion that for the last 3 months I have been touting and "gloating" about the Detroit baseball team's World Series chances and have egg on my face now that they are 5-11 on April 17th.

Great game,
It was honestly the most excited I have been about hockey in a long time.
I think this series is over too. Caps showed some heart last night and still lost.
Bring on the Habs!

Anyone catch Mike Wise's article today in the Post?
Not bad actually. The comments? Good for a laugh.
Kinda funny how both in the comments followin the last article, and in Wise's article today- they view Briere as some sorta tough guy.
"Backstrom, who never met a barbell he liked, almost went toe-to-toe with Brière during that scrum in the opening minutes. A snowflake in the series up to Game 4, the sedentary Swede was suddenly charged. He scored his first playoff goal moments later."
Does Danny B know what a Barbell IS?
Here's the article.

GGB,
Prefer #5 and 6 instead of 13. That bitch has a crazy look in her eyes like she'd cut off balls without any remorse rather than a freak in bed.

Seth, Leyla is fantastic, watch the show once and I think you'd agree (Lil' E agrees with me anyway). She might not be your favorite of all of them but I don't think come away saying she's Tommy Lee in drag.

Seth, that was GGB selection of the models from deal or no deal. Not a fan. I agree with him that she doesn't look bad (at all) on the show itself. The pic does no justice.
PS, While standing on his head, Huet, fell.
Yesterday's game was like the "lite" version of the 5OT game against the Pens 6 years ago.

NEAG- agreed.
Everyone who's a Flyers fan remembers where they were while watchin it and likely has a story to go along with it- even if its just callin outta work the next day.

I was a junior in college and had a final at 9AM the next morning. Neuroanantomy. Said that I would "study after the game", then the game ended 4 hours after it was supposed to. 2:35 AM
Ended up putting on a pot of coffee, then heading to Dunkin Donuts to study straight through to the exam

I remember seeing folks flat-out asleep at that game. Intensity carried for several OTs and finally caught up to them. The energy of the players didn't flag, though. Fantastic game. Primeau scored that goal, didn't he?

Yup. I was actually interning for the Flyers that summer. There were some pretty cool stories to come out of that game, like ordering pizzas for the players between the 3rd-4th OTs, and the Domino's (or whatever company) guy hung up, thought it was BS.

Yeah, they eventually came. I dunno too many details, I didn't go in the locker room between periods.
My favorite was Barnaby apparently wanted to start something with Keith Jones... Jones stifled a yawn, as if to say "I'm tired of you" and went to the bench.
The next faceoff, Barnaby starts giving him crap about chumping out... Jones told him, "No, seriously, I'm too tired."

For some reason, I popped in a tape after 3rd OT and had Primeau's goal recorded. I think the Birds had a Monday night game shortly after (Cowboys?). Hosted a party and had projector showing game on 14" high great room wall. Must have replayed that goal 20 times during the evening.
(I think the eagles lost that game when they fumbled a FG attempt that would have won it)
BTW, site looks great.

I was on call. Luckily it was a slow night. I caught most of the game including the final goal. It was weird, I was getting pummelled with trauma cases up till the puck dropped, then as if some higher power knew that they had screwed me out of so many things I wanted to do (through call, exams, and various responsibilities), that power then stopped the hemorrhaging on the streets. Awesome. I think I watched most of the Flyers games that year while on call including the final game 7 against New Jersey.
What a shame it ended that way, but it was an incredible time as a fan.
