Tough call, these teams seem evenly matched. If I had to bet the money line right now it would be the Flyers. Seth, you'd be amazed how cathartic it is too see your team win multiple championships and how it really removes all sense of bitterness, vindictiveness, and sense of persecution from your thought process.

Heh heh heh...
I dunno... Huet looks awfully good. I think the longer this goes the better for Philly (if that makes sense)... Capitals have the better of two goalies, and once the games get to 2+ OTs they're likely to end on a mistake or lapse in goalie concentration. (Think Primeau's goal in that 5OT game in 1999)
Ah, hell... sorry to say it, but I say Semin wins in for the Caps, about eight minutes left in 2OT.

with ALL due--- I know you know hockey and Id agree comin in that Caps had the better goalie.....
But Biron has out played the mutha lovin stuff outta him this entire series and never moreso than tonite.
Are we WATCHIN the same series?
I mean HONESTLY!

This is the FIRST game Huet hasnt looked scared, timid, intimidated and totally owned by the Flyers- especially those in front of the net and ESPECIALLY 48.
AND HE IS STILL BEING OVERSHADOWED in this game so far by Biron.
Anyone care to disagree on the quality of saves made and when?

You really think so? Good saves on both sides, to be sure... but the Caps' 3rd goal was a piece of junk... as was the first from the appearance of the replay (I missed the first period.)
I don't know, every time Green comes up from the point, I'm just waiting for it to slip through Biron...

Im goin nowhere til this sucker's over.
I effin love/hate NHL playoffs....rarely as a fan is it 'safe' and enjoyable (a multi goal lead)-- always tense and im goin to go 1 of 2 ways depending how this ends....

You can't deny Biron has given up some crummy goals in this series... and after 80 minutes of hockey this intense, the game isn't likely to be won by some masterful offensive play. Thus my reasoning for backing Huet here.

We're in agreement there. Regardless of rooting interest, to me this is the greatest thing going in pro sports-- SC playoff OT.

WHO as much as Drago is responsible for thier late season ascent?
WHO had a goals agnts avg of 1.71 since becoming a cap?
He is highly regarded.
