WHat a race yesterday.

Green/white/checkered finish in the Great American Race.....doesn't get any better.

Just wish Mark Martin coulda hung on but Harvick came outta turn three like he was shot ouuta a canon

I had a dinner reservation last night, I was watching at the bar and got seated with about 8 laps to go. F.

It was a tough choice between Nascar and watching the bathtub fill up with water.

I guess that would depend on who is in said bathtub.

Same here, GGB - was watching the race from Red Lobster in the bar (if I had some matches and an alibi, but that's a side issue...) and I got seated with three laps to go.

Man, if they didn't have that stoppage, I'd have seen who the winner was! But I'm not a big fan of NASCAR, so whatever.

After watching "Cars" 3700 times, my son was disappointed that the cars didn't talk.

Pixar better put out a Hockey movie, or we lose this generation to NASCAR.

Or "RRR" as we call it in the Fågelpojke household.

Knew this thread would get trashed.

As a fan, it was a great race. Watching Busch wreck Stewart was priceless. Great finish. Although I was routing for Martin, I had Harvick in the pool for $70.

I know many feel it's boring, not a sport, blah, blah, blah. But it's 9 months a year, when there's no football. It's an excuse to get out of the house and drink with the guys for 4 hours on a Sunday. Also, nothing like a 3 day tailgate at Dover, Pocono, Richmond, etc.

GoBirds, do you blame Busch for that wreck?

Smoke got way loose down on the apron and I don't think Kurt had much of a choice but to dump him. If he checked up, Kyle was right up his bumper.

NEAG:

Sorry, haven't checked back since posting.

No, Busch had no choice. Stewart got loose You're right, if he checked up, Kyle (no love lost brother) would have taken him out.

He was way too quick to apologize and take responsibility.
